Responsibilities
- Design and architect observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable and performant Dash0 implementations.
- Develop and execute proofs of concept demonstrating Dash0’s technical capabilities.
- Deliver technical demonstrations and presentations for engineering and executive audiences.
- Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to position Dash0 as the technical solution of choice.
- Provide guidance on observability setup, telemetry data modeling, and OpenTelemetry collector design.
- Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and proof-of-concept templates.
- Contribute to technical blogs, conference talks, and documentation.
Requirements
- Deep technical knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.
- Proven ability to create and execute technical demos, architectures, and proofs of concept that demonstrate business value.
- Strong technical communication skills for explaining observability concepts to engineers and decision-makers.
- Ability to collaborate across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving technical challenges creatively and precisely.
- Pre-sales or Sales Engineering experience at a B2B SaaS company is preferred.
- Active contributions to OpenTelemetry or the broader observability ecosystem are preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot is preferred.
- Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment is preferred.
