Base Salary
$121k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with Amazon Global Operations Services operational teams to identify manual workflows and co-build AI-powered solutions.
- Build AI agents and LLM applications end to end using agentic harnesses, LLM application frameworks, and RAG.
- Take prototypes into production and deliver scalable solutions that replace manual processes and web-based interfaces.
- Own planning, scope, risk, dependency management, coordination, and delivery for AI programs without relying on direct authority.
- Coordinate delivery across engineers, data scientists, and operational stakeholders.
- Document successful tooling and patterns and hand off scalable solutions to the broader organization.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of technical program management experience.
- Software engineering skills demonstrated through prior internship, work experience, coding competitions, publications, or programming and scripting experience with technologies such as Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby, or PHP, plus automation and version-control experience.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or experience working in a STEM field.
- Experience developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs, Neuron, TPU, or other AI acceleration hardware, or experience debugging, profiling, and applying software engineering best practices in large-scale systems.
- Preferred experience building complex software systems, developing production AI agents, professional software development, current GenAI tooling, rapid prototyping, forward-deployed or embedded engineering, AWS, infrastructure as code, SQL, data pipelines, and connecting source data to customer needs.
