Digital Architect
Guidewire SoftwareResponsibilities
- Lead the design and development of web and mobile solutions using JavaScript, React, and Guidewire’s Jutro design system.
- Collaborate with UX designers and cross-functional teams to deliver single-page applications and digital services.
- Apply CSS, SASS, automated unit testing, and server-side technologies including JSON/RPC and REST.
- Mentor and guide development teams while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
- Support migrations from AngularJS to React.
- Use UX prototyping tools as needed and travel for onsite client engagements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience with web technologies.
- Experience building web and mobile services and single-page applications.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Guidewire’s Jutro design system.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in Japanese and strong English skills.
- Insurance industry experience is preferred.
- Exposure to Figma, InVision, Sketch, or other UX prototyping tools is preferred.
