Responsibilities
- Translate customer and partner business and technical challenges into scalable, industry-aligned Microsoft cloud architectures.
- Lead complex customer engagements, virtual teams, technical projects, proof-of-concept efforts, and technical pre-sales support.
- Guide customers toward secure, resilient, AI-enabled, cost-optimized, and performance-optimized solutions.
- Drive customer adoption, consumption, usage, value realization, retention, and expansion opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships with technical and business decision-makers, including CIO, CISO, and other C-suite stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate business and technical risks, blockers, deployment constraints, and customer dissatisfaction.
- Partner with sales, engineering, product, and partner teams to influence roadmaps, prioritize fixes, and develop scalable offerings.
- Mentor colleagues, lead technical readiness and upskilling activities, and contribute to communities, methodologies, intellectual property, and external events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field and 7+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting or support, systems administration, network operations, software development or support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- At least 6 years of experience leading technical projects.
- Technical certification in cloud technologies such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, or security certifications.
