Base Salary
$200k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure across cloud, data, and AI/ML systems.
- Own and evolve Compa's Kubernetes-based platforms across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Drive multi-cloud initiatives including cloud abstraction patterns and cross-cloud identity.
- Define platform standards for Kubernetes cluster architecture and operational ownership.
- Scale and automate infrastructure services and internal tooling.
- Raise the bar on reliability and observability through SLIs/SLOs and monitoring.
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Lead platform efforts that reduce developer toil and improve velocity.
- Partner with leadership on technical direction and roadmap.
- Act as a multiplier, setting standards for engineering teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure and platform development.
- Deep, hands-on experience with managed Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or AKS).
- Strong Python skills for infrastructure tooling and backend systems.
- Experience designing and operating production systems across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Experience managing infrastructure across cloud boundaries including identity and networking.
- Familiarity with observability tooling such as Prometheus or Grafana.
- Comfortable with high ownership and ambiguity.
