Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support SAP ABAP applications across SAP ECC, SAP HANA, and SAP PI systems.
- Drive technical designs and formulate complex SAP landscape solutions.
- Prepare development designs, work plans, and effort estimates for complex projects.
- Review technical solutions, designs, and project artifacts.
- Mentor developers, promote quality, and enforce technical best practices.
- Support team upskilling and in-house SAP technical capability building.
- Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams.
- Lead root cause analysis and help implement corrective solutions.
- Document and modernize the existing SAP environment and development practices.
- Work with cross-functional IT and business teams in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience designing and developing SAP ABAP-based applications.
- Strong SAP ABAP and SAP PI application development experience on SAP ECC and SAP HANA.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, HANA code pushdown, and SAP performance-tuning techniques.
- Hands-on experience with ABAP Unit testing.
- Experience designing RICEFW objects in SAP modules such as SAP Vistex, SD, and FICO.
- Ability to perform feasibility analysis, create high-level designs, estimate effort, and prioritize technical work.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple IT teams and communicate work status clearly with stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Preferred experience with SAP DevOps tools or practices.
- Preferred experience implementing Vistex Billback, Customer Rebates, and Chargeback modules at a large distributor or manufacturer.
- Pharma or healthcare distribution experience is preferred.
- Four-year degree specializing in Computer Science or Electronics with good academic performance.
- SAP Application Development, object-oriented programming, or middleware technology certifications are preferred.
