Responsibilities
- Design and develop new backend features for Jitterbit’s iPaaS and APIM platform.
- Own projects from design through deployment while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Build and maintain large-scale distributed and multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Debug complex systems and make data-driven technical decisions.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and operations in a distributed team.
- Mentor and support other engineers and developers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
- Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Strong Java experience and substantial experience with SQL Server and MySQL.
- Experience with microservices and cloud-based architectures or design patterns.
- Excellent JavaScript, CSS, and HTML authoring skills.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Familiarity with application deployment via Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
