Responsibilities
- Design test automation strategies and plans aligned with product requirements.
- Analyze manual QA strategies and propose enhanced automation coverage.
- Design and implement improvements to test automation frameworks.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable automation code in Core Java.
- Create and execute automated test scenarios for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Research and evaluate automation tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Translate requirements into automated testing approaches and resolve automation failures through root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
- 6–10 years of experience as an SDET or in software development.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java programming.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright and unit testing frameworks such as TestNG.
- Expertise in test plans, methodologies, frameworks, and functional and non-functional test scenarios.
- Understanding of application architecture and system integrations, with strong debugging and defect-isolation skills.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines, and exposure to white-box and gray-box testing.
