Responsibilities
- Scope Salesforce professional-services projects, including required people, skills, timeframes, team size, and team composition.
- Lead technical presales activities and develop client-specific proposals, statements of work, and staffing plans.
- Provide subject-matter expertise and governance for Salesforce Core/PSS and large multi-cloud implementation architectures.
- Identify and address integration, usability, security, data migration, and third-party solution challenges.
- Partner with account, sales, professional-services, customer IT, and Salesforce partner teams to align implementation strategy and business value.
- Manage multiple strategic clients, build executive relationships, support services renewals, and act as a trusted technical advisor.
- Engage subject-matter experts to develop consensus on comprehensive implementation proposals.
- Inspire and develop colleagues by amplifying team knowledge and capability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of direct experience delivering or overseeing applicable solutions.
- At least 10 years of experience delivering consulting services, including team leadership and active involvement in selling professional services through technical solutioning.
- At least 2 years of experience sizing and scoping applicable projects.
- Salesforce System Architect Certification.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Experience in a highly matrixed, fast-growing organization and in sizing and scoping Salesforce Core/PSS projects.
- Ability to develop customer relationships, understand customer businesses, and create shared visions for Salesforce-driven outcomes.
- Ability to partner with customer IT and Salesforce partner leaders on technical implementation and enterprise architecture.
- Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, executive presence, advisory, analytical, relationship-building, conflict-mediation, and facilitation skills.
- Preferred: Salesforce Application Architect Certification and proximity to Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Virginia.
- Preferred: at least 5 years in presales shaping and scoping complex implementation projects.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of enterprise project or program management experience.
- Preferred: experience leading architect teams in delivering complex solutions and developing strategy, road maps, enterprise transformation approaches, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, born or naturalized, without dual citizenship, and able to complete a U.S. federal Moderate Public Trust Minimum Background Investigation.
