Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications supporting Market Risk.
- Contribute to complex projects and strategic technology initiatives.
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
- Work with large relational databases, logical models, and complex queries.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, knowledge sharing, and technical roadmap activities.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications and improve their performance.
- Support production environments and BAU requests.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and automation solutions.
- Explore AI agents and automation tools for software development, testing, validation, and production deployment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and relational databases.
- Strong object-oriented design and development skills.
- Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large relational databases.
- Experience with relational database logical modelling.
- Experience with JUnit and unit testing.
- Ability to write scripts using Shell and/or Python.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow established coding standards.
- Experience in an international or global environment is advantageous.
