Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, debug, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable production software solutions.
  • Build Java full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Apply secure coding, testing, operational stability, resiliency, and software development lifecycle practices.
  • Analyze large and diverse datasets and create visualizations and reports to improve applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
  • Guide peers on responsible AI use and contribute reusable automation and development patterns.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
  • At least 3 years of applied experience with Java, Spring Boot, and React.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate and refine generated outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Strong Java full-stack and React JS experience.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile engineering practices.
  • Preferred: knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architecture.
  • Preferred: exposure to cloud technologies, especially AWS.
