Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain software quality assurance processes compliant with DO-178C standards.
- Conduct compliance verification engineering activities.
- Participate in audits and conformity reviews of software development processes.
- Support and conduct Pre-SOI audits internally before authority involvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to apply quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Draft and maintain quality assurance documentation in accordance with DO-178C standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to software quality assurance and compliance.
Requirements
- Have a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Have proven hands-on experience in software quality assurance with a focus on aerospace industry compliance standards such as DO-178C.
- Experienced in working with quality assurance processes for embedded software systems in regulated environments, preferably within the aerospace industry.
- Familiar with software development life cycle processes and methodologies, particularly those applicable to safety-critical systems.
- Have an in-depth understanding of DO-178C guidelines, objectives, and processes for software quality assurance and compliance.
- Have excellent communication skills for engaging at all levels within an organization.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
