Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET and C# with established design patterns and principles.
- Build and consume Web APIs and develop RESTful services.
- Write and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Develop and maintain unit and automated test suites, including tests using frameworks such as Moq.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications hosted on IIS.
- Develop client-side functionality using JavaScript and jQuery.
- Use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools and prompt engineering practices to accelerate development, debugging, and documentation.
- Perform API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
- Use GitHub and related version-control workflows for source management, branching, and code reviews.
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint ceremonies.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues with cross-functional teams.
- Lead projects and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in .NET and C# programming.
- Extensive experience with SQL Server, Web API development, unit testing, automated testing, IIS, JavaScript/jQuery, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub workflows.
- Hands-on experience implementing or integrating OAuth 2.0 authentication and authorization in .NET applications.
- Hands-on experience with Claude, ChatGPT, or similar LLM tools, including prompt engineering.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and self-management skills.
- Preferred exposure to Splunk or Grafana, Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks, Kafka or other messaging/streaming systems, and GCP or other cloud platforms.
