Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a global suite of finance and markets technology applications.
- Perform application analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, maintenance, and production support.
- Understand business priorities, document requirements, and determine solutions with internal teams and business stakeholders.
- Provide user, operational, and L3 production support for application flows.
- Coordinate global testing and schedule application rollouts across multiple workstreams.
- Contribute to DevOps CI/CD pipeline improvements and strategic architecture initiatives.
- Define and follow operating standards and procedures, including post-implementation security measures.
- Partner effectively with global technology teams and participate in business initiatives.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or substantial practical experience delivering software.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in application development.
- Strong core Java skills, including JDBC/JPA and RESTful web services.
- Experience with Hibernate, JUnit, Spring Boot, and microservice-style application development.
- Experience with event-driven and API-led architecture.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools and platforms to design, build, test, and enhance application features.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as Oracle and MSSQL.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle, Jenkins, and UDeploy.
- Experience with cloud-based architectures on OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Experience with distributed software application testing and Unix or Linux.
- Experience with Kafka and GemFire or Ignite is a plus.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects and working with globally distributed teams is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, work independently, take ownership, drive strategy, and collaborate effectively.
