Base Salary

$113k - $183k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, prototype, test, and deploy modern software applications, pilots, reusable components, and production-ready features.
  • Evaluate and apply generative AI, LLM-powered workflows, AI-assisted development, intelligent automation, cloud services, and integration platforms.
  • Convert ambiguous ideas, customer needs, and technical opportunities into proofs of concept, pilots, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Apply automated testing, security, observability, performance, maintainability, responsible AI, and operational-readiness practices.
  • Collaborate with product, architecture, data, security, operations, and business teams to define use cases, success criteria, tradeoffs, and enterprise transitions.
  • Share learnings through demonstrations and documentation, mentor others, and promote experimentation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals in design, integration, testing, and scalable solution delivery.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies, assess risk and value, and make practical recommendations.
  • Hands-on experience with modern development tools, cloud-native patterns, APIs, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguity, test assumptions, communicate technical tradeoffs, and move ideas toward validated outcomes.
  • Experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, AI-assisted development, or intelligent automation is preferred.
  • Experience creating proofs of concept, pilots, or MVPs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, data pipelines, vector databases, DevOps, or observability tools is preferred.
  • Experience with responsible AI, security, privacy, data governance, testing, and production readiness is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor others, and influence adoption through demos and documentation.
