Responsibilities
- Own product features end to end from initial design through deployment.
- Collaborate directly with customers and the founding team to translate procurement challenges into product requirements.
- Build performant backend services for a data-intensive decision-support application.
- Design and develop user interfaces for complex energy management workflows.
- Train time-series forecasting models for power consumption and renewable production.
- Develop linear optimization algorithms to reduce customer energy costs.
- Help define and shape the core technology stack.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience delivering scalable web applications in an early-stage or high-intensity startup environment.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience writing robust, maintainable, production-grade backend and frontend code.
- Demonstrated ability to independently deliver full product features while working directly with customers.
- Experience building frontend interfaces for complex decision-support or data-intensive applications.
- Experience building backend services for data-heavy workloads.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, React, and Python.
- Hands-on experience or strong interest in time-series forecasting and/or linear optimization.
- A product mindset and curiosity about energy markets and complex business applications.
- Generalist or former technical lead experience is a plus, and startup experience is welcomed.
- FastAPI or Supabase experience is a bonus.
Benefits
- Salary range of €85,000 to €140,000 per year.
- Hybrid role based in Munich, Germany, with on-site presence required the majority of the week and occasional remote-work flexibility.
- Visa sponsorship is not available.
