Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build large-scale, low-latency, high-throughput services in the core path of Prime Video ad delivery.
- Develop AI-powered agents, operational automation, and AI-assisted development workflows.
- Work on dynamic ad insertion, transcoding, and ad stitching for live sports and video-on-demand.
- Troubleshoot operational issues, fix production problems, and reduce manual effort through intelligent tooling.
- Lead or influence architecture, reliability, scaling, and the future AI and agentic roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience mentoring others, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
