Base Salary
$220k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate core security services including authentication and authorization.
- Own the identity infrastructure end-to-end, including SSO and fine-grained authorization.
- Create secure-by-default libraries and self-service tooling for engineering teams.
- Define architecture and ensure reliability of security systems from greenfield to production.
- Contribute to incident response and technical mitigation of security issues.
- Raise security standards through design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production services.
- Hands-on experience building security infrastructure such as IAM and secrets management.
- Knowledge of common vulnerability classes and system failure under attack.
- Strong programming skills and willingness to work across the stack.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure like Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Ability to turn security requirements into scalable engineering solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to influence teams.
