Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, test, and support enterprise banking applications and digital platforms using Java and modern frontend frameworks.
- Build scalable microservices and REST APIs with Spring Boot and develop responsive interfaces with Angular or React.
- Develop and enhance digital banking platforms, payment systems, lending solutions, customer portals, and workflow applications.
- Integrate applications with core banking systems and third-party banking services and support regulatory and compliance-driven enhancements.
- Perform code reviews, write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot production issues, and follow secure coding and architectural standards.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, backlog grooming, retrospectives, production support, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, UX teams, and QA teams.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Java full-stack development within banking, financial services, fintech, payments, or digital banking.
- Experience with Java 8, 11, or 17; Spring Boot; Spring MVC; Spring Data JPA; Hibernate; REST APIs; and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Angular 12+ or React, TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, or Angular Material.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL and advanced SQL skills.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP web services, OpenAPI/Swagger, API gateway concepts, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Maven or Gradle, SonarQube, Microsoft Azure, and preferably AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, JWT authentication, OWASP principles, role-based access control, API security, secure coding, and audit logging.
- Exposure to banking domains such as lending, payments, trade finance, deposits, onboarding, treasury, cards, or core and digital banking.
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing, event-driven applications, real-time payments, cloud migration, API modernization, or banking product implementations is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Generative AI integrations, Azure OpenAI, agentic applications, Databricks, Redis Cache, Elasticsearch, Grafana, or Kibana is beneficial.
- B.E., B.Tech., MCA, or M.Tech. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication, stakeholder interaction, teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to deliver secure, scalable code with minimal supervision.
