Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business, stakeholder, and technical requirements and maintain traceability across requirements, designs, and test cases.
- Create and configure software components and applications that meet functional, scalability, availability, security, and maintainability requirements.
- Design and implement Java RESTful web services and microservices, including cloud deployment.
- Build automation scripts for repetitive tasks in development, testing, and delivery processes.
- Create and execute test cases, perform regression testing, and identify and resolve defects.
- Troubleshoot application performance, availability, code, and infrastructure issues.
- Perform application maintenance, re-engineering, monitoring, log analysis, and performance analysis.
- Evaluate change requests and monitor program adherence to approved milestones and timelines.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field; or bachelor's degree or equivalent in one of these fields plus two years of software engineering or related experience.
- Experience designing and implementing Java RESTful web services.
- Experience designing and deploying microservices into cloud architecture.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, code and infrastructure debugging, and SQL databases.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB and Couchbase.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, design patterns, and Kafka.
