Base Salary
$187k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead significant infrastructure improvements across teams and product areas.
- Design and build scalable, efficient, reliable, and secure systems-level infrastructure.
- Create clean, reusable, and maintainable abstractions for Airtable engineers.
- Own infrastructure components, including their reliability, performance, efficiency, and production observability.
- Contribute to asynchronous serving, Kubernetes compute, developer platform, or traffic engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of industry experience.
- Experience with databases, distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, or data infrastructure.
- Strong computer science background with a degree in computer science or a related field.
- Ability to learn new technologies and build clean abstractions in a fast-changing environment.
- Experience relevant to infrastructure areas such as Kubernetes platforms, API gateways, edge networking, or stateless request-serving systems may be applicable depending on team placement.
