Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the infrastructure supporting the Atlanta demonstration lab.
- Organize solutions from multiple business segments for clear and effective presentation.
- Design and build demonstration scenarios using real-world retail examples.
- Lead customer and executive demonstrations and support solution-selling initiatives.
- Translate complex technical solutions into compelling demonstrations for technical, operational, and executive audiences.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, software, and hardware issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain documentation and change control for environments, configurations, and demonstration flows.
- Continuously improve the lab setup, efficiency, and presentation quality.
- Collaborate with product and technical specialists across business areas.
- Travel as needed, up to 50%.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical sales, pre-sales engineering, solution consulting, or related roles supporting software, hardware, and services sales.
- 3+ years of retail technology experience in a relevant consulting, integration, service provider, software provider, or retailer/end-user environment.
- Strong presentation, demonstration, verbal, and written English communication skills.
- Hands-on technical capabilities and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with retail environments, business models, demo environments, labs, or proof-of-concept builds is preferred.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, APIs, databases, data analytics, data warehouses, scripting or coding languages, technical architecture, operating systems, project or program management, CRM, mobile systems, app development, computer vision, and AI is preferred.
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office tools is preferred.
- Preferred retail technology experience includes point of sale, inventory management, marketing and loyalty, fuel, and foodservice solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Engineering is preferred.
- Ability to work with technical specialists and stakeholders ranging from senior management to frontline employees.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to work on-site in the Atlanta office five days per week.
