Responsibilities
- Manage and improve provisioning, deprovisioning, account modification, access review, entitlement cleanup, and role evaluation processes for users and service principals.
- Process and validate access requests and contribute to RBAC roles, access policies, approval workflows, and secure role structures.
- Support application onboarding into IAM systems through SSO configuration, SCIM provisioning, OAuth integration, and secure authentication setup.
- Implement and support MFA, Conditional Access, PIM, identity governance, certification campaigns, privileged access workflows, and separation-of-duty reviews.
- Monitor identity threats, anomalous activity, and misconfigurations and recommend remediation.
- Troubleshoot identity-related authentication, directory synchronization, and access conflicts and investigate security alerts.
- Provide IAM subject-matter expertise to IT, security, engineering, and application teams.
- Prepare access evidence, reports, and documentation for internal and external audits and regulatory requirements.
- Develop periodic reports on access activity, privileged accounts, anomalies, and policy adherence.
- Maintain IAM documentation, runbooks, training materials, and user guides while identifying process automation and standardization opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on Identity and Access Management experience with a strong focus on Azure environments.
- Strong understanding of Azure Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Governance, PIM, directory services, and RBAC.
- Experience with SSO integrations and SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SCIM provisioning.
- Ability to improve access models, workflows, and entitlements using least-privilege and zero-trust principles.
- Proficiency with PowerShell or similar scripting tools for IAM automation.
- Experience monitoring identity threats, anomalous login behavior, and cloud IAM misconfigurations.
- Working knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and related IT/security governance and compliance practices, including audit and access review support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for authentication, authorization, directory synchronization, and permissions issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering, IT, and security teams.
- Relevant certifications are preferred, including Microsoft SC-300, AZ-104, AZ-500, or Security+.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of IAM responsibilities.
- Ability to work onsite in Hyderabad, India.
