Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and work with ING frameworks, tools, and processes.
- Analyze, code, test, and deliver user stories according to ING standards and best practices.
- Build and maintain applications supporting customer onboarding, contract lifecycle management, transaction processing, and data analytics.
- Maintain technical and risk documentation, provide support to consumers, and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Develop and maintain a data lake and work with payment-related data and integrations.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Cybernetics, or equivalent experience, with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Proficiency with Java SE 11+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SOA, event-driven design, and Swagger.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, plus JPA and Hibernate.
- Hands-on experience with message brokers or event buses such as Apache Kafka.
- Experience with Git, Maven, Azure DevOps, Sonar, and Node.js.
- Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, integration testing, unit testing, test coverage, and performance testing.
- Knowledge of frontend development using Web Components, LitHtml or LitElement, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Cloud experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift, application development from scratch, and experience with nGrinder, Gatling, or Apache JMeter are pluses.
