Base Salary
$131k - $178k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and iterate on scalable application and infrastructure architectures with startup founders.
- Guide startups in selecting foundation models and AI services and building production-ready GenAI applications.
- Advise on GenAI application costs, latency, accuracy, safety, compliance, and best practices.
- Help startups establish data foundations including vector databases, data pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation, and fine-tuning workflows.
- Build relationships with accelerators, incubators, venture capital firms, and the broader startup ecosystem.
- Represent founder feedback to AWS product and engineering teams.
- Create startup-focused technical content, reference architectures, and sample code.
- Present at startup events, demo days, and developer meetups.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in application or infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
- At least 4 years of experience in relevant technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- Experience working in software development or Internet-related industries is preferred.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud is preferred.
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a development or operations perspective is preferred.
- Experience working with end-user or developer communities is preferred.
