Base Salary
$230k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Design and implement large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
- Deliver robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and shape system architecture and long-term technology direction.
- Partner with architects and product leaders to define platform roadmaps and shared-services strategy.
- Mentor engineering team members and drive professional development, coding standards, design patterns, observability, and reliability practices.
- Lead architectural design reviews, cross-functional engineering efforts, and large-scale technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, 9+ years coding with multiple listed languages, and extensive experience with open-source frameworks, front-end frameworks, APIs, databases, cloud technologies, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, troubleshooting, mentoring, observability, architecture reviews, coding standards, and enterprise technology strategy.
- Experience with modern AI-based coding tools, interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion, and leading cross-functional engineering initiatives is preferred.
