Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance test scripts and Java-based automation components for TCU validation.
- Collaborate with firmware and systems engineers to translate requirements into test cases.
- Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and document defects.
- Contribute to continuous integration efforts for automated testing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide timely task updates.
- Debug test bench issues and investigate inconsistencies in test results.
- Develop and validate software components using Java and Spring Boot.
- Write unit tests and REST API validation tests using Java.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience is required, with an additional requirement for at least 5 years of Java full-stack development experience.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- Strong hands-on Java experience, including object-oriented programming, exception handling, multithreading, collections, and file I/O.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, dependency injection, annotations, configuration properties, and Spring test utilities.
- Experience developing test automation and REST API validation using Java.
- Proficiency with JUnit and mocking frameworks such as Mockito.
- Familiarity with Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, AKS/EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, and Terraform.
- Familiarity with Git and GitLab.
- Exposure to ET Framework or similar proprietary test frameworks.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols or embedded systems testing is preferred.
- Understanding of TCU or connected-vehicle technologies and automotive domain experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, independent-working, collaboration, attention-to-detail, and ownership skills.
