Responsibilities
- Build APIs that enable other engineers to solve customer problems.
- Ensure systems are efficient, scalable, and reliable.
- Participate in company-building initiatives.
- Collaborate with application and front-end engineers.
- Design systems based on customer problems.
- Manage time and priorities effectively.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Ability to operate independently while seeking support when needed.
- Experience with backend development and large project ownership.
- Good judgment on tradeoffs and technology choices.
- Familiarity with AWS, Postgres, and Node.js.
- Strong communication and feedback skills.
