Responsibilities
- Collaborate with account teams to assess customer network, data center, infrastructure, technology consumption, implementations, and processes.
- Design and propose tailored infrastructure and networking solutions aligned with customer business objectives and budgets.
- Advise customers and sales teams on network solution selling, technical products, services, and technology trends.
- Deliver product training, technical education, and presentations to sales teams and customers.
- Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs, strategic partners, emerging partners, and customers.
- Identify technology opportunities across data center, cloud, network, security, collaboration, and services areas.
- Manage the solution practice pipeline by developing strategies for prospects and acquiring new business.
- Engage CIOs, IT directors, CTOs, and other client stakeholders as a trusted IT advisor.
- Support account teams and field account executives with consultative technical expertise.
Requirements
- Completed bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with Cisco networking products, including switches, routers, wireless, Nexus, and Meraki.
- Familiarity with Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW).
- Strong knowledge of route/switch, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, cloud edge, virtual networking, secure access, and network visibility solutions.
- Experience with software-defined networking technologies such as SDDC, SD-WAN, SASE, and SSE.
- Expertise with comparable products from vendors such as Aruba, Juniper, HPE, and Arista.
- Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products or services by understanding customer needs and articulating value propositions.
- Ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.
- Advanced certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, JNCIP, CASX, or ACSP are valued.
