Base Salary
$169k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own technical engagement and implementation success for customer projects.
- Define AWS implementation architectures and respond to customer RFPs.
- Help customers design, build, migrate, and deploy applications, software, and services on AWS.
- Partner with sales and business development teams to formulate and execute AWS adoption strategies.
- Lead deep architectural discussions, technical presentations, and customer training sessions.
- Capture and share best practices with the AWS Solutions Architect community and contribute to customer-facing white papers.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, AWS Service Teams, and Support.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- Experience with web services development and deployment, cloud computing, website or services operations, management, and security.
- Ability to deliver technical presentations to small and large groups, including whiteboarding sessions.
- Preferred: 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
- Preferred: experience working with end-user or developer communities, communicating with technical and non-technical audiences and executive stakeholders, and migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Ability to travel 30%.
