Responsibilities
- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and contribute to product quality, test strategy, and release-readiness discussions.
- Create test plans and test cases based on product requirements and customer workflows.
- Perform functional, exploratory, integration, regression, and system testing across desktop and cloud-based components.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and help troubleshoot software defects using logs, debugging tools, telemetry, and diagnostic information.
- Develop and maintain automated tests with guidance from experienced engineers.
- Contribute automated tests to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
- Review automated and manual test results to identify failures, trends, and risks.
- Evaluate opportunities to improve test coverage, reliability, and engineering efficiency through automation.
- Simulate customer workflows and provide feedback on usability and product quality.
- Collaborate with Product Support and engineering teams to address customer-reported issues and improve the post-release experience.
- Learn Revit, Revit Cloud Worksharing, and related Autodesk workflows and technologies.
- Participate in quality initiatives and share knowledge with teammates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Up to 2 years of professional, internship, co-op, academic, or project experience related to software development, software testing, engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
- Basic understanding of test cases, test plans, defect reporting, and debugging.
- Experience with or coursework in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, C#, JavaScript, or Java.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new applications, technologies, and development processes and collaborate with a diverse, globally distributed team.
- Preferred experience includes software quality assurance, automated testing tools or frameworks, cloud platforms, Windows or Linux, Autodesk Revit, AEC software, BIM models, or architecture and engineering software.
- Preferred familiarity includes Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment concepts or tools and Agile or Scrum practices.
- Preferred familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and generative AI for test cases, test data, troubleshooting, documentation, and software development workflows.

- For Romania-based roles, the stated starting base salary is 126,000 RON to 184,800 RON.
