Base Salary

$79k - $131k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end deployment, installation, configuration, validation, and optimization of Firco Continuity Cloud Native solutions.
  • Configure Kubernetes clusters, persistent storage, container registries, networking, ingress, service mesh, and multi-component environments.
  • Create, migrate, maintain, and secure Oracle and SQL Server databases, including schema upgrades and plugin tables.
  • Configure IBM MQ, Kafka, DAPR, and other messaging integrations and troubleshoot message delivery, event processing, and distributed transactions.
  • Implement SSL/TLS, mTLS, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, certificate-based authentication, user provisioning, roles, and permissions.
  • Automate deployments and upgrades using scripts, Helm charts, cloud CLI tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement and document high availability, resiliency, disaster recovery, health checks, logging, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting practices.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and product support while providing training, knowledge transfer, documentation, and ongoing support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of technical implementation experience, ideally in enterprise, banking, or financial services environments.
  • Proficiency with Unix environments including Linux Red Hat, AIX, Solaris, and Windows Server.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, multi-node clusters, namespaces, persistent storage, persistent volumes, and storage classes.
  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS and SQL, including Oracle, DB2, and Microsoft SQL Server, with database migration, schema, security, and advanced configuration experience.
  • Hands-on IBM MQ experience and familiarity with Kafka, Azure Service Bus, GCP Pub/Sub, and DAPR sidecar integration.
  • Experience configuring WebSphere, WebLogic, or Apache Tomcat and securing HTTP endpoints with SSL/TLS, mTLS, and certificate management.
  • Understanding of three-tier architectures, microservices, cloud-native deployment patterns, load balancing, and stateless application design.
  • Experience with Helm, Azure CLI, AWS CLI, GCP CLI, CI/CD pipelines, scripts, environment variables, object storage, and distributed-system troubleshooting.
  • Preferred experience includes multinational and multicultural deployments, compliance or AML/CFT/KYC processes, SWIFT, SEPA, ISO 20022, HashiCorp Vault, Kubernetes role-based access control, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, OpenAPI, and Swagger.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
