Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy enhancements to the electronic trading platform.
- Support and optimize software built by the team.
- Collaborate with software engineers across different time zones.
- Automate repetitive tasks and reduce operational toil.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with low-latency or real-time systems.
- Excellent Java proficiency, including concurrency, performance tuning, and memory management.
- Good command of the Linux/UNIX command line interface.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Preferred experience includes agentic AI for software maintenance, Podman, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Aeron, profiling, metrics collection, and CI/CD techniques.
- Experience with order management systems or low-latency applications is a plus.
