Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Node.js client library code.
- Own significant client library components and drive technical direction and key design decisions.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Write comprehensive tests and documentation while managing backward compatibility.
- Contribute to educational content and adapt documentation based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources and operational impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript development in a Node.js environment.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.

- US base pay is listed as $174000–$252000, with a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
