Responsibilities
- Build trusted advisory relationships with strategic accounts and engage architects, engineering executives, CTOs, and CIOs to identify priorities, address objections, and design strategies across the Google ecosystem.
- Provide public-cloud and enterprise-technology expertise and promote Google Cloud with customers, at conferences, and online.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure, and provide best practices for optimizing Google Cloud.
- Manage enterprise architecture relationships by collaborating with specialists, product management, technical teams, and other groups.
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing, planning, implementing, and governing enterprise cloud strategies.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and related events as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or in an equivalent customer-facing role.
- Experience with cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data.
- Experience presenting to and engaging technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience in or supporting the software industry.
- Preferred experience with structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, on-premise-to-cloud migrations, and migration roadmaps.
- Preferred experience with enterprise technology buying and evaluation, large-scale computing solutions, and designing and implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems.
- Knowledge of technology solutions across industry verticals and the ability to learn emerging technologies, methodologies, and cloud and IT solutions.
- Ability to deliver results cross-functionally, orchestrate multi-product solutions, influence audiences, and identify account expansion opportunities.
Benefits
- Germany base salary of €132000 - €135000 EUR, plus a 42.86% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and related events is required as needed.
