Responsibilities
- Understand customer priorities for platform engineering, cloud application development, and generative, agentic, and classical machine learning adoption.
- Design and implement Azure Machine Learning workspaces, networking, compute, GPU quota strategies, data assets, feature stores, AutoML, distributed training, model registries, experiment tracking, and managed endpoints.
- Deliver production MLOps, including CI/CD for models, components, and prompts, registry-based promotion, infrastructure as code, and data and model drift monitoring.
- Lead generative and agentic AI architecture using Azure AI Foundry and Azure Machine Learning, including model selection, prompt flows, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation, content safety, and observability.
- Ensure intelligent applications meet security, scalability, maintainability, reliability, data-access, network-isolation, cost-control, and Responsible AI requirements.
- Accelerate solution delivery through architecture reviews, proofs of concept, MVP applications, model pilots, and environment setup.
- Deliver customer technical discussions, hands-on Azure Machine Learning and Azure AI workshops, and other cloud-readiness activities.
- Develop customer and partner relationships, resolve technical blockers, provide customer feedback to engineering, and identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain practical proficiency in enterprise programming languages and share strategic technical guidance, best practices, and reusable intellectual property.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business, or a related field and at least 4 years of experience in cloud/infrastructure, IT consulting or support, systems administration, network operations, software development or support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience working on technical projects is preferred.
- Hands-on production experience designing, training, deploying, and operating machine learning models in Azure Machine Learning, including MLOps and model lifecycle management, is preferred.
- Technical cloud or AI certification, such as Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Data Scientist Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or an equivalent AWS, Google, or security certification, is preferred.
- Enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid infrastructure, architecture design, and migration experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in .NET, Java, JavaScript/Node.js, or Python is preferred, with strong preference for Python and the machine learning ecosystem.
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, agentic application patterns, and evaluation of generative AI solutions in Azure AI Foundry is preferred.
Benefits
- Base pay for the role in Canada is CAD $96,000–CAD $177,600 per year.
