Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and maintain full-stack software solutions.
Develop robust backend components with Java and Spring Boot and frontend components with Angular, React, or Vue.
Translate requirements and architecture into technical designs and working software.
Create REST APIs according to OpenAPI specifications and integrate with other systems.
Implement automated tests, test automation, code reviews, and code-quality practices.
Work with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift for modern delivery and deployment pipelines.
Collaborate with functional analysts, developers, architects, designers, customers, and stakeholders.
Present solutions, process feedback, and explain technical decisions.
Use AI pair-programming tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development productivity and code quality.

At least five years of professional experience as a Java developer.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
Strong demonstrable experience with Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Postgres, and message brokers.
Knowledge of modern software architectures including microservices, event-driven, and cloud-native architectures.
Experience with CI/CD, Git, test automation, and monitoring.
Fluent communication in French or Dutch and English.
Kafka experience is a strong plus.
Experience with complex projects, Domain Driven Design, Clean Code, TDD, BPMN, CMMN, OAuth2, or GitHub Copilot is an asset.
Apache Camel experience is a bonus.
