Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain automation product and component solutions through software development, system configuration, and peer code reviews.
- Participate in automation product design reviews to align implementations with design intent, reuse existing components, and assess implementation effort.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for automation issues.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, APIs, cloud applications and infrastructure, identity integrations, scripts, dashboards, and ServiceNow workflows.
- Steward the software and automation center of excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or an equivalent applicable STEM field.
- 8+ years of professional experience as an Automation, Cloud, DevOps, Software, or Systems Engineer, including experience with the listed technology skills.
- Experience with Azure DevOps YAML or GitHub Actions/GitHub Workflows pipelines for CI and CD.
- Experience with Azure application and infrastructure hosting, API management, C# or Python backend development, security scanning, infrastructure-as-code deployment, and identity management.
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, Power BI, PowerShell, Bash, SQL Server, and ServiceNow Flow and Workflow development.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree, software center-of-excellence experience, Ansible, Ansible Tower, SailPoint, Okta, Terraform Cloud, and relevant ServiceNow or Azure certifications.
