Responsibilities
- Guide engineering teams on software architecture, best practices, design patterns, and technology choices.
- Oversee complex projects from concept through production and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Design, develop, and maintain production-ready .NET full-stack SaaS applications.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and foster continuous learning.
- Set technical direction, make high-stakes decisions, and lead product delivery in partnership with engineering teams.
- Collaborate with product management and cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business and product goals.
- Drive innovation, AI modernization, automation, and improvements to software engineering practices.
- Work across business strategy, product strategy, technical design, and hands-on implementation.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in .NET full-stack development.
- At least 7 years of experience in software development or engineering roles.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Expertise in multiple programming languages, including .NET experience.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, principles, and engineering best practices.
- Deep knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud.
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining SaaS applications.
- Proficiency with containerization and infrastructure as code using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and data architecture.
- Understanding of security best practices and frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and set technical direction.
- Experience leading complex, large-scale projects and demonstrating architectural design skills.
- Experience with cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives, including LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
