Responsibilities
- Lead technical design sessions focused on minimizing maintenance, maximizing code reuse, and reducing testing time.
- Develop software according to business and technical needs, create test data, and perform unit and integration tests.
- Conduct performance and stress testing to meet expectations for responsiveness and resource utilization.
- Support the identification, design, and development of automation, including continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Participate in retrospectives, process improvement, client product and feature demonstrations, risk management, and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university, completed and verified before starting.
- At least 5 years of experience developing software using object-oriented principles.
- Proficiency with Java, object-oriented design, design patterns, JavaScript/TypeScript UI development, and Angular.
- Experience with an IDE such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, or Visual Studio, as well as source control and build automation.
- Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, web application development, JSON, GitHub, and cloud-hosted environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of PL SQL and relational database design, plus experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Exposure to generative or agentic AI tools, knowledge of UI accessibility standards such as WCAG/508, and experience with Agile methodology and distributed teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to solve problems logically, methodically, and efficiently.
