Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of central platform engineering capabilities that accelerate software delivery across product teams.
- Build developer platforms and golden paths with reusable, self-service capabilities for React, Node.js, Java, data and analytics, and GenAI workloads.
- Design and standardize CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, quality gates, security scanning, deployment, and rollback capabilities.
- Develop reusable AWS Infrastructure as Code modules and automate application and environment provisioning.
- Integrate and automate engineering workflows across GitHub, Jira, Slack, Confluence, AWS, and CI/CD tooling.
- Establish common observability, monitoring, SLO, resiliency, and operational-readiness patterns with SRE and product teams.
- Enable AI and GenAI engineering through reusable delivery, evaluation, observability, security, and guardrail patterns.
- Convert duplicated engineering work into reusable platform capabilities and automation.
- Drive engineering standards, adoption, documentation, and best practices with embedded product-team engineers.
- Measure and improve developer experience, delivery velocity, reliability, and platform adoption.
Requirements
- At least five years of hands-on AWS experience supporting cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or software delivery automation.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CDK, and AWS cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with Git and GitHub, branching and pull-request workflows, reusable workflows, automated testing, and release automation.
- Experience supporting application delivery across Java, Node.js, React, and/or data workloads.
- Experience with observability, reliability, DevSecOps, IAM, secrets management, and automated security controls.
- Experience enabling AI and GenAI workloads, including delivery automation, evaluation, guardrails, observability, and operational monitoring.
- Experience building or supporting internal developer platforms, platform engineering capabilities, golden paths, or developer self-service solutions is desired.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, ECS, and AWS Lambda is desired.
- Experience integrating and automating workflows across GitHub, Jira, Slack, Confluence, CI/CD, and AWS is desired.
- Knowledge of SRE practices, including SLIs/SLOs, resiliency, incident management, root-cause analysis, and performance engineering, is desired.
- Experience with data and analytics platforms, data pipelines, APIs, enterprise integration patterns, automated governance, compliance, or policy-as-code is desired; contact-center or Amazon Connect experience is a plus.

- Potential starting base salary of $100,000-$142,000 per year, plus potential yearly incentive pay of up to 15% of base salary.
