Base Salary
$85k - $85k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized Spring Boot and MySQL full-stack solutions with Nuxt.js and Vue.js front-end applications.
- Design and develop containerized applications using the Spring Boot framework.
- Build AWS serverless services using technologies such as API Gateway, Amazon SQS, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, AWS Step Functions, and Amazon Cognito.
- Interpret software requirements and identify technical dependencies and considerations.
- Provide development estimates and communicate constraints, risks, and potential liabilities during Scrum planning.
- Plan and prioritize development tasks to meet project objectives and customer-initiated deadlines.
- Design test protocols that support application stability, usability, security, and quality.
- Use CI/CD pipelines and build tools including NPM, Yarn, Docker, AWS SAM, and Gradle.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java or C#, along with Python and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Java Spring Boot, JHipster, or similar application-development frameworks.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud development and cloud-native application patterns.
- Ability and interest in learning new systems, frameworks, and programming languages quickly.
- Ability to produce high-quality work while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong collaboration, teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to meet customer-initiated deadlines and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Preferred experience with React.js and/or Vue.js using the Nuxt.js framework.
- Preferred experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap, Vuetify, or Tailwind CSS.
- Preferred experience with Apache Spark and the PySpark library.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Docker, MySQL, NPM, Yarn, AWS SAM, or Gradle.
- Preferred experience with AWS services including API Gateway, Amazon SQS, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, AWS Step Functions, and Amazon Cognito.
