Responsibilities
- Identify and address customer technical needs to drive new sales and account expansion.
- Master the NiCE software portfolio to creatively apply technology for customer success.
- Evaluate the technical sustainability of sales opportunities and ensure accurate contractual obligations.
- Facilitate smooth transitions from pre-sales to implementation with knowledge transfer.
- Protect NiCE from technically challenging projects that may not provide value.
- Assist the sales team with business discussions, technical presentations, and product demos.
- Conduct technical benefits assessments to identify customer needs and overcome objections.
- Meet with prospective customers as a trusted technical advisor to understand their environment and challenges.
- Gather field data and product feedback to inform product management.
- Provide continuous knowledge transfer to the sales team and new SEs.
- Deliver partner enablement activities and maintain demo environments.
- Assist in preparing responses to customer RFP requests.
- Scope and build proofs of concept for prospective customers.
- Develop detailed solution design documentation for new customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
Requirements
- Broad knowledge of call center technologies, ACD, and IVR systems.
- Knowledge of workforce optimization and analytics practices.
- Familiarity with digital self-service, messaging, and social media platforms.
- Basic knowledge of IP telephony, SIP trunk, and WebRTC.
- Basic knowledge of cloud security.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Japanese.
- Intermediate English communication skills (CEFR B2+ / IELTS 5.5+).
- Strong presentation skills to effectively engage with management.
- Analytical abilities to interpret financial and statistical information.
- 7+ years of sales experience in a software environment is preferred.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages like Javascript or Python is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
