Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Support architects and system administrators in designing, implementing, and optimizing mission-critical applications and databases on Kubernetes and other container platforms.
- Provide advanced technical assistance and escalation support to technical support teams.
- Develop joint solutions with technology partners to expand the Portworx ecosystem and improve interoperability.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor by partnering with sales to drive adoption, usage, expansion, and long-term customer success.
- Plan, create, and deliver demos, reference architectures, best practices, implementation guides, design and implementation documentation, runbooks, and proposal materials in Japanese.
- Provide technical support throughout the Portworx lifecycle, including implementation, system integration, performance improvement, and operational optimization.
- Lead technical discussions and problem resolution for Japanese enterprise customers from proof of concept through production operations.
Requirements
- Native-level Japanese proficiency, including technical writing and presentations, plus business-level English proficiency.
- Deep knowledge and practical experience with on-premises and cloud compute, storage, and container orchestration technologies.
- Practical experience with major cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure.
- Advanced expertise in at least one of Kubernetes, OpenShift and the Red Hat ecosystem, Rancher multi-cluster management, KubeVirt virtualization workloads, or distributed and cloud storage architectures.
- Experience using DevOps and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Knowledge and practical experience with monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and Splunk.
- Senior-level customer-facing technical experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead technical escalations and product improvement activities.
