Responsibilities
- Lead consulting for credential issuers and relying parties through digital credential architecture, design, and integration.
- Partner with external engineering teams to debug system integration issues and analyze data flows, database/API payloads, and networking stacks.
- Translate partner feedback and technical roadblocks into actionable feature requests for Consumer Payments product and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Business Development, and Program Managers to streamline launch pipelines.
- Build and deploy technical automation, tools, and developer documentation to scale issuer self-service onboarding.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Six years of experience with client-side web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP.
- Six years of experience coding in one or more programming languages such as Java, C, C++, or Python.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal or external partners or customers.
- Fluent Japanese and English communication skills.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience in business intelligence, data analytics, statistics, database technologies, cloud technologies, machine learning, and Linux or Unix systems.
