Responsibilities
- Deliver Support Mission Critical Service offerings for enterprise customers and coordinate with customer success, support, engineering, and other internal teams.
- Lead proactive resiliency efforts covering reliability, security, supportability, manageability, and monitoring and observability.
- Coordinate customer onboarding, including Consolidated Assessment Week Delivery, remediate workload recommendations, and implement workload-specific service improvement and customer success plans.
- Support accelerated incident resolution by tracking critical incidents and ensuring root-cause analyses and recommendations are captured and shared.
- Drive customer-owned monitoring and observability capabilities and coordinate relevant onboarding resources.
- Lead cross-team partnerships, operational reviews, post-incident analysis, and stakeholder coordination across global time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in Cloud Solutions Architecture or Mission Critical Support for enterprise customers.
- Deep knowledge of Azure infrastructure services, including compute, storage, networking, Azure Kubernetes Service, and PaaS offerings.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with distributed systems and mission-critical workloads, including performance optimization, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Experience managing high-severity incidents and providing rapid mitigation strategies.
- Experience with financial services customers or other highly regulated industries is required; large-scale financial platform experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive updates and technical deep dives, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and global support teams.
- Business proficiency in Japanese.
- Preferred expertise in virtualization, VM performance tuning, cache optimization, observability tools, telemetry, proactive monitoring, and large-scale infrastructure operations.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and ITIL or a similar service management certification.
