Responsibilities
- Engage complex Utilities customers and help them achieve unified platform goals.
- Develop and execute customer engagement strategies with Account Executives and Solutions Architects.
- Coach account teams and peers on positioning, adoption strategies, and execution.
- Influence stakeholders across the cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
- Serve as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture, design, and Databricks Lakehouse adoption.
- Develop customer-facing collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Support customer proofs of concept, demonstrations, and customized technical solutions.
Requirements
- Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and technical pre-sales sales cycles.
- Technical background in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Machine Learning, or AI.
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python or SQL, plus willingness to learn Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate competitive landscapes.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives while orchestrating teams and building long-term customer relationships.
- Builder mindset with experience creating prototypes, demos, and tailored hands-on proof points.
- Business-professional fluency in Japanese is required.
- Business-level English proficiency is a plus.
- Databricks Certification is a preferred qualification.
