Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build REST and/or GraphQL API endpoints powering the product's data experience.
- Develop Java backend services that expose data-driven insights and scoring to the product surface.
- Build and maintain React UI components for dashboards and workflows.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews as the product progresses from early stage to general availability.
- Troubleshoot production issues across the technical stack using logs, metrics, and traces.
- Participate in code reviews, document processes, and contribute to cross-team initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in Java software development for product applications or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of React front-end development experience.
- At least 4 years of experience working with highly scalable software systems.
- Experience using AI tooling to accelerate software development.
- Expertise in object-oriented design, scalable data structures, API best practices, REST service development, SQL troubleshooting, relational database design and development, and quality testing practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Kotlin experience is preferred but not required; GraphQL, gRPC, and distributed or streaming data experience are additional pluses.
