Responsibilities
- Design, build, implement, manage, and support enterprise infrastructure and software solutions.
- Guide cloud infrastructure and software upgrades, refreshes, enhancements, and replacements.
- Lead or support incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, monitoring, logging, alerting, and reliability improvements.
- Develop features for software products serving the development community and evaluate technologies to evolve the platform.
- Lead large, technically complex initiatives and align engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Establish engineering standards, enforce engineering practices and policies, and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor team members, provide coaching and feedback, and participate in interviews for new hires.
- Translate business needs, regulatory considerations, risks, and controls into technology solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, plus 5+ years of total relevant work experience.
- Strong experience with software development lifecycle processes and the tools and services supporting enterprise software delivery.
- Strong experience with cloud infrastructure components and cloud-based infrastructure and application platforms, preferably AWS.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern software delivery tooling such as GitLab and Artifactory.
- Familiarity with containerized and distributed application environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with AI/ML platform infrastructure, data pipelines, or enterprise model development, deployment, and monitoring patterns.
- Strong understanding of reliability, resiliency, monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
- Experience partnering with engineering, security, architecture, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure, governed solutions.
- Ability to influence technical direction, establish engineering standards, mentor engineers, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of secure engineering practices, identity and access management, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, policy compliance, risk management, governance, and audit readiness.
