Responsibilities

  • Discover agency problems onsite and translate them into compliant, buildable solutions tied to mission outcomes.
  • Design, configure, integrate, test, and ship AI agents, workflows, automations, integrations, and data pipelines on Axon’s platform.
  • Build with and extend DEMS, Fusus, AI Era, Records, and related systems in agency environments.
  • Own deployment, adoption, optimization, and ongoing success through production use.
  • Build and deploy AI-powered workflows using agents, prompts, RAG, and evaluations.
  • Measure adoption, workflow impact, and mission outcomes, then iterate based on results.
  • Troubleshoot onsite and coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services.
  • Lead QBRs, mission reviews, strategic planning, and outcome-metric definition with agency stakeholders.
  • Capture field intelligence, influence product roadmaps, and turn successful builds into reusable playbooks.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and partner with Sales on account strategy.
  • Maintain an onsite presence of approximately three to four days per week and support Sales-to-Post-Sales onboarding and handoff.

Requirements

  • Typically 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, program management, operational transformation, or complex deployment environments.
  • Demonstrated experience shipping production-ready automations, agents, workflows, integrations, or AI-enabled tools in customer environments.
  • Ability to configure products, write integration logic, and own technical builds, including use of AI-assisted development tools.
  • Comfort working across hardware, software, cloud, AI-enabled technologies, and integrated systems.
  • Strong communication skills with technical teams, senior stakeholders, command staff, and operational users.
  • Ability to own outcomes in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and coordinate across Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Services.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and follow security standards.
  • Former law enforcement or military experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in public safety, law enforcement, corrections, or other mission-critical operational environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Records, Evidence, digital workflows, AI-enabled platforms, or integrated public-safety ecosystems is preferred.
  • Background in forward-deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or operational transformation at scale is preferred.
